Yoga, movement, meditation & community, grounded in the Algarve.
Come for a class. Stay for a while.
KAYA is a place for strong practices and slow ones.
For showing up regularly, meeting people and feeling at home.
For movement and stillness.
We built KAYA in Almancil because we live here, and because the Algarve — its light, its textures, its slower rhythm — all shape how we want this space to feel.
Come for a class. Stay for a while.
The people teaching here shape what KAYA feels like as much as the room does. Each bring a different practice, a different training, a different story — browse their profiles and find the voice that fits you.

Community Meditation
Once a week, we open the doors for a free community meditation. Come along, take a seat and share a little stillness with us.
Wednesdays at 12.30-1pm
The name KAYA comes from the Sanskrit word काय (kāya), meaning “body.” In yoga and Buddhist traditions, it also refers more broadly to the body as a whole system.
KAYA is the realisation of a dream our Founder Alison has carried with her for many years: to create a beautiful, welcoming space where movement, wellbeing, nourishing food and community come together.
